Feeling a little more energetic?

* Walkways and cycleways abound in the Perth metropolitan area. Take a 15 minute walk along our Southern River, complete the circuit in a peaceful, tranquil route through the natural grasslands and treed areas from the B & B and return.  You will see native birds, maybe some of our more shy inhabitants in the trees and flora native to our region.

Are you into cycling?

Many cycle paths wind their way thru the city, at Burswood Park, near the Casino, the cycle paths follow the river between the bridges, which is about an hours ride for the novice, you can have a picnic near the outdoor theatre and the children can play on the play equipment and statues.

Most of Perth suburbs have safe & good quality bike paths, maps are available, and most suburbs have signs out showing which way to certain destinations.  Perth city is relatively flat, so cycling is a fun and easy way to see Perth at your leisure.

The Bibbulmum Walk Trail is renowned throughout the world for its challenging and rewarding trail through the Darling Scarp, from Mundaring to Albany.   The trail takes some 9 weeks to walk, but can be done in sections of 1 day, several days or several weeks.  We can organise to drop you off at your chosen start point and picked up at your chosen destination.

Ellis Brook to Bickley Reservoir

A leisurely stroll along the walkway thru the scarp will give you views of the city and the rolling countryside towards the coast.  When you reach your destination, there is a picturesque picnic & barbecue area - but watch out for the Kookaburra's they will steal your food!

Alternatively, from Ellis Brook, you can climb the hills to the waterfall (rain permitting) where you can see amazing views of the city.
